The NeedSafe Health Card is an evolving concept for secure access to a patient's key medical information, based on NFC identification and designed to integrate with digital healthcare infrastructure. In the target model, the NFC identifier acts as a secure key that lets an authorised user reach a defined set of information needed in a medical situation.
